The survival of a patient who is in a battle of his or her life is very dependent on the efficiency of a hospital facility, say for example, the mechanical or respiratory ventilator. It is usually given to patients that suffer from comatose or unconsciousness. This kind of facility helps the patient in gas exchange or breathing. There is a supply of oxygen which is sufficient to make the patient breathe properly despite of unconsciousness.
